Update

All is well here in the Engelhardt household! We haven't had much time to update because, well, we've been having too much fun! Christmas was a blast. We were overwhelmed with the happiness that comes along with having a 3-year-old at the most magical time of the year. It was such a great day. We started out with Petros looking at the cookie crumbs and note that Santa wrote to him, as well as the carrot crumbs from the reindeer eating the carrots too fast! Petros was super excited to learn that Santa favors his soy milk because it doesn't hurt his belly like cow's milk does. ("Just like my belly, Mommy!")
After all kinds of present-opening madness and great quality time with our family, it was great to finally be DONE with Christmas, put everything away (after spending a small fortune in batteries and trash bags!) and finally have my house back to some type of order!
Petros continues to blossom. He loves singing along with the radio to a pretty great variety of music. His Nana and I were recently in the car with Petros in the back seat when we heard him singing along with John Mayer's "Say" I liked Petros' version better though: "Sandwich you need to say; sandwich you need to say....." He continues to have a fascination with numbers, letters, and colors and is always looking for opportunities to learn. Top it all off with his recent obsession with wedgies, and I'd say we've got a pretty well-rounded kid!

Wow! He is one beautiful little boy. I am wondering if he noticed that the same carrots were at the dinner table on Christmas day...:) He certainly made sure they were well fed! Too cute!
