Petros has been doing awesome, and we are having a blast. I love being home with him, and although I'm looking forward to my first girls' night in a couple of weeks, I can't imagine being away from him for more than a few hours!
He continues to impress us with his ability to pick things up so quickly. Sadly, he is starting to drop a lot of his native language. He opts for the English version of most words that he knows in both languages. As impressive as it is, it is bittersweet to see it all go. Thank goodness for his cute little accent!
Yesterday, my mom came over, and we went out for the day. On the way home, we stopped at Smiling Hill Farm so that I could buy my milk. (I've been buying it there for a long time, and this used to be a quick trip before I had him to go with me!) They have a very small petting zoo, and some wooden trains, airplanes, and trucks for the kids to play on. He always has a blast feeding the meich'chos (goats) and ponies, and playing on the 'makenas'(cars) and 'airoplans'!
